Kelly Jackson | Emmy-Award Winning Host, Executive Producer

Kelly Jackson is the Executive Producer and Host of How My Pet Lives. An award-winning television journalist with more than 20 years of experience, Kelly has made her mark in both the media and the pet advocacy world.

She began writing about pets through her blog dedicated to celebrating senior animals, which ignited her passion for storytelling in the pet space.

Kelly’s work has been featured in notable outlets such as CNN.com, St. Louis Magazine, the Associated Press, and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, among others. A memorable career highlight includes her role as a TV news anchor in the Netflix thriller “The OA.” In addition to her work on How My Pet Lives, Kelly is an anchor at KSDK-TV, the NBC affiliate in St. Louis.

Throughout her career, Kelly has received numerous accolades, including a national Gracie Award from the Alliance for Women in Media for a show she co-produced and hosted that focused on the experiences of African American women and race in America. She has also earned a regional Edward R. Murrow Award and regional Emmy Awards for her exceptional work in journalism.

Outside of her career, Kelly is a passionate animal advocate. She dedicates her time to various animal welfare organizations, hosting and emceeing events such as telethons for the Humane Society of Missouri. She shares her life with Birdie, her quirky rescue pup, who provides endless joy and inspiration. Kelly resides in her adopted home of St. Louis, Missouri.

Heidi Glaus is an award-winning journalist with more than 25 years of broadcast experience as a reporter and host. After 22 years at KSDK-TV, she decided to try her hand at talk radio and now hosts “The Heidi Glaus Show with Josh Gilbert and Bob Ramsey.”

Originally from the small town of New Madrid, Missouri, Heidi started working at KSDK in 1996 as an intern after attending William Woods University where she played basketball and softball. These days she enjoys exploring the country in her motorhome with her wife and seven pound Havanese, going to as many concerts as possible, and spending time with friends and family, particularly her niece and nephew.

Noah works at the intersection of branded content, documentary, and commercial filmmaking. His DP work includes campaigns for brands such as Busch Beer, Buffalo Wild Wings, Caterpillar, Keurig Dr Pepper, Nature’s Miracle, Purina, and Verizon. He has contributed to episodic series for BET, ESPN’s 30 for 30, MLB Network, Netflix, and PBS.

His documentary work includes serving as DP on The Team That Wouldn’t Be Here, executive produced by Peter Berg and aired on CBS following the Super Bowl, as well as projects showcased at SXSW. Noah’s film Potentially Dangerousearned a three-year PBS deal in 2022, and in 2023 he Oscar-qualified with the short documentary George alongside business partner Matt Richmond.

Jon is a co-owner of Retriever, an integrated video and photo production company built on care, craft, and collaboration. Specializing in pets on film and complex productions, he has spent more than a decade producing global campaigns that balance creative ambition with practical excellence.

His career spans advertising, documentary storytelling, Netflix series, feature documentaries with Oscar-nominated directors, and commercial sets for brands like Purina, Seresto, Elanco, Chewy, and Royal Canin. Jon’s work is fueled by a commitment to problem-solving, clear communication, and meaningful storytelling—whether through technical builds or clean, simple visuals.

Retriever is a multi-faceted creative production company offering motion, stills, and fully integrated production and post-production. With deep experience across commercial, documentary, and episodic storytelling, their work has earned festival recognition, awards, and mainstream distribution.

Retriever brings particular expertise in animal-centered production, supported by long-standing relationships with trainers, handlers, and pet professionals, as well as extensive experience producing episodic content for networks including Netflix, CBS, ESPN, Fox, and MTV.
